Coldside Road

A mix of two-storey house types and flats are being provided for general needs together with a specifically designed wheelchair house and one and two-bedroom flats for special needs. Justification for the provision of the flats is provided in a separate statement proposed by Caledonia Housing Association.

The flats are three storeys in height, which reflects the existing flatted properties to the North of the site and all of the ground floor units have been designed specifically for wheelchair use. There are two car ports provided to the rear of the flats for the use of the disabled occupants.

External finishes to the houses and flats are a mix of off-white dry dash render and red brindle mix facing brickwork to walls, plain grey interlocking concrete tiles to roofs. grev coloured window frames and doors, grey coloured fascias and soffits.
