Axis Shield

As part of an extensive review of manufacturing capacity, workflow staff facilities and corporate image, Wellwood Leslie were commissioned to reorganise and remodel the existing research and production facilities at Dundee Technology Park to allow the company to significantly increase production volumes achievable from the plant without disrupting manufacturing operations.

Working closely with the Axis Shield in-house facilities team to develop a phased approach to the refurbishment of their existing building. All areas of the building have been upgraded including manufacturing and research laboratories, temperature controlled storage, packing areas and staff workspaces. The project was planned around the logical flow of work through the building and included the creation of a new entrance and reception area as a focal point for the building.

Wellwood Leslie were able to establish a flexible framework for research and production areas which continue to be developed to accommodate new processes and equipment.
