This year Wellwood Leslie Architects is dedicated in partnership with Aberlour Children Care.
Aberlour are an amazing charity that provides help and services for disadvantages children and families all over Scotland. They strive to provide the best possible start in life for children, working to beat poverty and provide an equal chance to all.
Abelour provide befriending services for pre/post-natal mothers, guardianship for child refugees, foster and adoption care, manage a poverty relief fund, help new and expecting mother to find the right path and turn their lives around and this is just scraping the surface. As you can imagine in the current climate of inflation, fuels poverty, cost of living crisis, the services they provide are stretched to say the least.
We have and are currently working on a number of projects with Aberlour Children Charity, which has allowed us to see 1st hand what a difference they make to the life of the children they work with.
Wellwood Leslie have chosen to help Aberlour by completing the 5.5 and 21 mile Dundee Kiltwalks in August.
Many miles of training is ahead of us, some blisters, but we are motivated by a great cause.
